TINte Cosmetics announced yesterday that their collection of color cosmetics has been nominated by the Fashion Group International for the Rising Star Award in the Beauty Entrepreneur Category.
“It is truly an honor to be nominated for such an amazing award by such a prestigious group like the Fashion Group” states Stacy Provines Reid Creator of TINte Cosmetics. The awards are to be held on Friday, January 22, 2010 in New York City (for full press release click here)
TINte Cosmetics is best known for unique and retro flavored lip glosses packaged in a vintage slider tin. The TINte line also has all-in-one makeup kits small enough to carry in your purse. Each of these kits called “Match Books” contain two eye shadow colors (a base and contour shade), a cream eyeliner, blush, two lip glosses and two brushes and provide five simple instructions on the back to complete your look.
With smoky eyes being a popular trend this season, the Smoky Eyes Match Book is a must for every girl’s makeup collection. This fabulous pairing of gray eye shadows, one dark and one light with a bit of shimmer create the smoky eye effect with a more natural look that is great for day or evening use. The cream eyeliner is very easy to use and unlike gel liners, it only takes one dip of your brush in the cream to line an entire eye. (The cream eyeliner isn’t as smudge proof as liquid or gel liner so I would not suggest it for an extended look such as the cat eye look.) (Match Books $28.00)
My favorite product is the “cake” flavored lip shine which has a light gold shimmer with a mouthwatering aroma and taste of cake. The lip shine also comes in flavors such as Pepper on the Rocks (Dr. Pepper), Pink Lemonade, Coconut, Bubble Gum, Root Beer, Chocolate, Peppermint, Peach and Plum/Berry each enriched with moisturizing Shea butter. ($17.00)
If you haven’t tried TINte cosmetics now is your chance. All of my readers will be given a 20% discount when placing their order online (click here and enter GLOSS at checkout)
