Tattoos have been gaining in popularity over the last decade. According to a survey taken by Pew Research Center in 2006, 36% of Americans aged 18 to 25 have at least one tattoo (more than 1 in 3) and 40% of those aged 26 to 40 have at least one tattoo.

Marchesa spring show included tattoo hosiery instead of temporary skin art. This line has not yet been released but you can find tattoo hosiery at local Atlanta department stores such as Dillards, Macy’s or Junkman’s Daughter in Little Five Points. For the most intricate designs go to bebaroque.co.uk, this brand won the Scottish Accessory Designer of the Year for Vogue.com in 2008.
