New look for your manicure and pedicure

Nail salons, like many spas have been struggling to stay alive during these tough economic times. Savvy business owners have had to think outside the box to offer more creative services and make sure they are up with the latest trends in the nail fashion industry to keep the business flowing.

If you are interesting in a fun change here are some examples shown by a nail salon in Roswell, Georgia (Metro Atlanta) call Nail Millennium.

If you are a fan of dark colors you might light this:  Inverted French Manicure with Lincoln Park After Dark tips by OPI

Selena at Nail Millennium is very artistic and will freehand designs on your hands and toes. You can ask for a specific design or Selena will be happy to provide suggestions. Above is an example of a butterfly on the toe and below is a fan-like design on the nail tips.

You can also choose from many different shades of acrylic powder for the tips of your nails in place of the traditional white as you would with a French manicure. This is the same look as the inverted French manicure but longer lasting since the color is applied with colored/tinted acrylic powder.

For more information contact Maria or Selena at Nail Millennium, 920 Marietta Hwy., Ste 320, Roswell, GA 30075 (770) 594-9004.

There are also many blogs that are dedicated to nail polish trends. Vampy Varnish is a fabulous one with great photos.
